About the Author
Tamara Fyke is a content creator,educator and social entrepreneur who founded Love In A Big World in 1996. She currently serves as Executive Director. Her vision for the integration of entertainment, education, healthcare and technology for tweens (ages 8-14) challenges traditional education models. Her commitment to the whole child drives her passion for social & emotional learning (SEL). She received her Master’s in Education from Peabody College at Vanderbilt and her Bachelor in Arts from Belmont University.

Fantastic!!!

I have used the Love in a Big World curriculum for small group sessions with elementary age students as well as in a children's program in our local church. I have also been able to implement it in my own home with my kids who are elementary age as well. It was a great spring board for discussion, interaction with the students and helped them think through real life situations. This provides a solid foundation on which to build strong character in young children as they learn from the Love in a Big World lessons found in the curriculum! This is packed with stories and lessons from real life people and challenges the kids to think about the choices they make as they grow and learn!!

Incredible tools for all ages!

I am a teacher at a small private school and I used the LBW curriculum to teach character development to K-g grades. The outcome was astounding! My classrooms were full of peaceful, engaged students who respected one another and loved to learn! Thank you Tamara and the LBW team for all your hard work that helped to make my classroom a fun and safe place to learn.
