Better than Think and Grow Rich!

I am surprised this book is not VASTLY more popular. It is the original conversation between Andrew Carnegie and Napoleon Hill. It is in interview format and far shorter than Hill's other works. I immensely enjoyed hearing the words "from the horses mouth". I found it fascinating that Hill was actually given the 17 Principles of Success before his 20 years of research.
I require anyone who works for me to read this book before seeing any of my clients. The chapter about going extra mile is worth the price of the book by itself. The only weak point of the book are the last 2 chapters, which were penned entirely by Hill. I have read all the books from Hill, and this one is by far my favorite. The Laws of Success comes a close second, but is WAY longer.
Do yourself a favor and hear "How to Raise Your Own Salary" directly from Andrew Carnegie himself!

This is a must read for anyone looking to be successful in business. It is the foundation that "Think and Grow Rich" was based on. The seventeen principals are the basics everyone needs, but they are complex and it takes reading more than once to really absorb it all.

Great Conversational Guide

This is based on a personal interview Napoleon Hill had with Andrew Carnegie in detail. This is one of many books written by Napoleon Hill on the subject of gaining wealth, but it is different because it is the conversation between the two men, with Hill asking the questions, as a novice, and Carnegie giving the detailed responses of why, what, how, where and when.
Having purchased this along with "Think and Grow Rich", and "The Law of Success", each of them is useful and has its place, like using all of them to keep you focused on what you want to achieve. Keep your mind focused on your goals and anything is possible. It's about thinking, working, living, and acting smart. Focusing on your long term goals, as opposed to struggling everyday to just keep your head above water. Once you make a practice of thinking smart, asking yourself what habits you need to change, taking responsibility for what you are doing or not doing, then you change and your life changes. This is what Andrew Carnegie's conversation is all about, going all the way back to the early 1900's, when discipline was the rule of the day, if you wanted to get ahead. Thinking smart, living smart, acting smart, doing smart.
